The Patrol Section of the Stellarton Police Service is considered the backbone of the service.

There are numerous areas of tasks and duties involved in this section. The men and women working in the patrol section are the First Responders to all sorts of complaints and calls for service and assistance. They provide around-the-clock patrols 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year.

Drunk driving enforcement
Traffic accident investigation
Traffic and by-law enforcement
Escorts funeral and wide loads
Answering calls from our citizens
Conducting criminal investigations
Meeting community policing needs
