Our communications section consists of five full time communication officers. Communications is the public's means of communications for all Police and Fire Service activities for the Town and surrounding areas.

Communication officers are responsible for all primary communication answering 911 emergency and non emergency calls and operating the Canadian Police Information Centre computer. Communication officers are the primary link between the citizens requiring assistance and the police officers and fire fighters responding to calls of service. Our Communications centre is operated 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

Our communication centre dispatches for 2 police services and 20 fire departments, as well as the Stellarton Works Department..
